Temlegen: System Breakdown

Temlegen is a psychological horror game blended with elements of a visual novel and a deeply immersive narrative.
You awaken in a place you’ve never seen before — a cold, unfamiliar environment devoid of memories, explanations, or an exit. You don’t know who brought you here or why. As you try to escape, a mysterious figure appears — a masked, nameless entity who refers to himself only as "the Organizer." He informs you that you are now a participant in a deadly game — one with rules you haven’t agreed to, but must follow if you wish to survive.

Soon, you encounter others: strangers, like you, who have also been abducted and stripped of their memories. None of you remember how you got here, but one thing is clear — you all must play.
To earn your freedom, each participant must survive three unique trials, each more twisted and psychological than the last. Every game will test your fears, your instincts, and your will to live. Some will survive. Others won’t. The outcome depends on your decisions.

As you progress, you’ll uncover secrets hidden within the structure of the game — fragments of truth that begin to form a disturbing picture. Who is the Organizer? Why were you chosen? And what horrifying purpose does this game truly serve?

The demo contains multiple endings, each shaped by your decisions:

Every ending is unlocked through different choices, actions, and exploration. Each one stands on its own and reveals unique perspectives on the story. While all paths ultimately conclude the same overarching narrative, the knowledge and experiences you gain on each journey can differ greatly.

There are also hidden secrets waiting to be uncovered — layers of lore, background, and unsettling truths for those who dig deep enough.
Exploration is key. Curiosity is rewarded.

Finally, Temlegen is a passion project — a solo creation developed entirely by one person with no formal programming education or game development background. It was born purely from imagination, determination, and a love for storytelling.

Characters:

Tan Kyuu

The main protagonist, about whom little is known — for now. He’s the kind of person who, once he starts something, must see it through no matter what. This deadly game is no exception: he’ll either uncover the truth or die trying.

Minori Sawada

One of the participants trapped in the complex against her will. Though one of the youngest, she matures significantly throughout the game and shows a strong will to fight through every challenge. More than anything, she just wants to go home. She has an older sister.

Takashi Uramichi

Also a participant in the deadly game. A determined and ambitious guy who can always stand up for himself and never asks for help. He sometimes comes off as rude — but who could stay polite in a place like this?

Renji Kagerou

A mysterious boy who appeared in the middle of the game and unwillingly became involved. He doesn’t like to talk about himself or why he’s here. Independent and smart, he’s especially helpful when solving puzzles.

Sofya Sawada

Minori’s older sister, who puts all her energy into finding her missing sibling. While others have tried to move on, Sofya never gave up. She’s always chasing the truth and refuses to stop until she finds it.

Her

The infamous organizer of the deadly games. If she has a goal, she’ll stop at nothing to achieve it — and then reward herself with another round of chaos. She is the head of To The Future, a global leader in advanced technology.

Mika

One of Sofya’s close friends. Her family is deeply connected to lawyers and private investigators, and she helps Sofya in the search for Minori. However, after disappearing for a week, Mika returned… different.

The Committee Heads

Three powerful individuals who oversee different divisions of the company and support Her. Wealthy and influential — but with dark secrets buried deep in their pasts.

It’s everywhere and nowhere. It exists — and doesn’t. It has no name, and infinite names.
